Pablo Lara – Contemporary Spanish Artist and Sculpture Professor

Pablo Lara is a contemporary Spanish artist renowned for his abstract and spiritual sculptures and paintings. His work reflects a deep connection to Andalusian culture and explores themes of sensibility, expression, and spirituality.

From an early age, Pablo was immersed in the world of art, learning the fundamentals of painting from his father. His passion led him to explore various forms of artistic expression, culminating in a unique blend of abstract and spiritual art.

Pablo holds a degree in Technical Industrial Engineering and is a Superior Technician in Sculptural Techniques from EADO, Córdoba. He has also trained in Gestalt art therapy at ‘El Caminante’ in Málaga and studied illustration at St. Martins College, London. Currently, he serves as a Tenured Professor of Sculpture at the School of Art in Jerez.

In 2022, Pablo held a solo exhibition titled ‘JONDO’ at Centre-Miramar in Sitges, Barcelona. He has received several awards, including the First Prize in the XXV Certamen de Escultura Pere Jou in 2021.
